He has served in municipal law enforcement, contracted with the Air National Guard, and worked in healthcare as a hospital police officer. His credentials include an Advanced Law Enforcement Certification, undergraduate degrees in criminal justice, two graduate degrees in public administration and criminal justice with a focus in law enforcement leadership, the Medal of Valor, and other commendations. He is also a certified private pilot and remote pilot, as well as a drummer who has performed with award-winning bands.
